Books
Lambert published book which provides a solid grounding in artificial intelligence, particularly neural networks, deep learning and hidden Markov models. The reader is presented with a detailed practical application of these through the implementation of a biometric handwritten signature verification system.
Selected Mainstream Media
New Scientist magazine: Editor's "article of the week" back in the day, it was a huge honour to be featured in such a prestigious magazine.
ABC's Catalyst TV show: Being a feature story on ABC's long-running science show "Catalyst" was an amazing experience. They came and filmed over two days to talk about a couple of my artificial intelligence projects, and venues included a bookie, bars and a live Cowboys game. The team from the ABC were great!
The BBC: This was part of a period where I was lucky enough to appear on the BBC in their online media, radio and TV show (including a nice segment alongside former English goalkeeping legend David Seaman).
The Times: Newspaper article in The Times was a big hit for me and brought a lot of attention. A different article in the UK referred to me as one of "the high priests of the computer age" which was great for my ego!
ABC Grandstand: I have appeared on ABC Grandstand several times to talk about my AI sports prediction software and generally had a great time.
Sydney Morning Herald: These guys have printed several articles about my work, including a fun challenge pitting my AI sports prediction software against their rugby union expert trying to pick the most winners in the rugby union world cup - I'm proud to say that my MAIT software ran out the winner by three!
The Guardian: Featured in an article where my AI software predicted a strong win for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the grand final (which fortunately turned out to be correct!). The UK version of The Guardian has also featured me.
The Age: The Age Newspaper in Melbourne, also published a second feature.
Medium: Medium published a great study that tried to use neural networks to take on my MAIT software and included a lot of interesting detail. MAIT came out well on top thankfully!
Zive: One for the Czech fans! Articles and content from my work has been published in 15 languages, so I thought I'd wrap this section up with one of those.
